After a lot of years, and I'd like to think a thousand fish. Unfortunately pike included. My trusty, and original Grabb-It gave out. I know Pearson never had this problem, as he has never owned one long enough to rust slightly. Hence the lanyard. Luckily I followed my own recommendation, and had a second one in the boat. Dead you say? Can you say heli-arc?????

Lousy lanyards has been my problem.The new model with velcro is sweet.

This is the best tool in the world by far for releasing those pesky pike. Keeps the hands at a safe distance. Mine has gotten some use but not thousand fish worth. Lanyard still holding up.
