There are some present, but they are pretty rare. Those I have heard about were caught by mistake as opposed to someone actually targeting them.

Agree w/ George. I've personally caught 2 largemouth on the Flowage. Caught them both in shallow weedy bays on accident. When we take a break from musky fishing, we'll target smallmouth from time-to-time. Some of the presentations we use work pretty well for largemouth in other water bodies, but we only catch smallies on the Flowage with them.

We've caught quite a few largemouth over the past 2 years to the point they are no longer a surprise. Biggest was 16". Most of them come from around the lily pads while fishing for bluegills, especially in Blair.
