7/31/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 78 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees. Today was a pan fish trip, we caught largemouth bass, bluegills and crappies. The bass were off the weedline in 15-17 ft of water. The crappies were on the weedline in 12 ft of water. Fished throughout the whole lake and the main lake points seemed to produce the most action.
7/29/15 Delavan Lake p.m., sunny, 85 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 12 largemouth, 2 walleyes and 1 smallmouth. We fished the main lake points with a split shot rigged nightcrawler. The best point was Willow Point.
7/28/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, W winds at 10 mph, water temp 77 degrees. We caught 9 largemouth, 1 walleye and 1 northern. We fished under water humps off the main lake basin. The best approach was lindy rigged nightcrawlers and leeches. The best location was by Willow Point and the concrete point.
7/27/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 78 degrees, light winds out of the west, water temp 77 degrees. Went Lake Trout fishing for the first 3 hours of light without success. We trolled throughout the lake but the floating weeds made it difficult.
7/25/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 80 degrees, winds W at 10 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 4 largemouth and 2 smallmouth bass. The largemouth came out of 8 ft of water by Conference Point and the smallmouth came out of 21-25 ft of water off deep water points. The smallmouth were lindy rigged with nightcrawlers and a 24 inch leader, the largemouth were caught with split shot rigged nightcrawlers.
7/25/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 79 degrees, W winds at 5 mph, water temp 78 degrees. We caught 3 largemouth and 7 smallmouth. Took us most of the morning to find a school of smallmouth bass. We found them just west of Conference Point. The largemouth were caught by Coleman’s Point in 12 ft of water. Fishing was tough due to the calm water, we caught all of the smallmouth in the last ½ hour of the trip.
7/24/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 80 degrees, calm winds, water temp 77 degrees. Caught 1 walleye, 7 largemouth 2 smallmouth and 15 bluegills. Fishing was tough, most of the bigger bluegills were caught around deep water docks.
7/23/15 Lake Mendota, sunny, 77 degrees, calm winds, water temp 79 degrees. Caught 1 walleye 3 smallmouth bass and one largemouth bass. All the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers off the weed line in 15-20 ft of water and trolling deep water around structure . We fished the main lake points.

7/20/15 Lake Monona, sunny, 83 degrees, calm winds, water temp 75 degrees. We caught 2 smallmouth and 1 largemouth and more than enough pan fish for dinner.
7/19/15 Delavan Lake, sunny, 76 degrees, W wind at 5 mph, water temp 75 degrees. We caught 1 legal walleye, 17 largemouth and 2 northern pike. The northern pike and a few bass were caught on lindy rigged medium suckers. The rest of the fish were caught on split shot rigged nightcrawlers. Most of the fish were right on the weed line in 15 ft of water.
7/18/15 Lake Geneva, sunny, 80 degrees, winds NW at 5 mph, water temp 75 degrees. We caught 5 smallmouth bass, 2 largemouth and a few pan fish. Fishing was very tough.
