Musky fishing the last couple of weeks has been pretty good, a few slow days here and there but overall the action has been good. Points, islands, and mid lake rock bars have all been holding fish, concentrate on the wind blown side of the structure to find the most active fish. Buck tails have still been the top producer in these areas, medium size up to double 10's have been working well. On the area lakes Muskies have been hanging tight to the deep weed edges. Locate the schools of perch on these edges and the Muskies won't be far away. Bull dawgs and deep diving crankbaits are the best lures to get tight to the weed edges right into the faces of these fish hanging tight to the bottom. Lots of warm/hot weather moving in over the next week or so which could push some of the surface temperatures pretty high in the afernoon. Be sure to keep handling of fish to a minimum and get em back in the water quickly after you get a picture as the warm water temperatures stress out the fish more than usual. Good Luck!!
