Hi everyone,

Had Calvin and his wife Lisa and their 5 year old son Hobbs out for two half days. We had beautiful weather except the air temps were a tad on the cool side. The walleyes were cooperative but on the small side. We caught no keepers but had good numbers along with the usual suspects of bass, bluegill, crappie, and perch. We had success by dragging Proaggressive jigs through the gnarly wood cover in mid depth and deep and floating slip bobber rigs over the tangled wood cover tipped with leeches. Used crawlers with a little luck but leeches are far better at this time.

Water temps have plummeted to 71 degrees from 81 3 days ago. Wind was almost nonexistent both days and when the sun came out, it warmed things up fast. It's a great time to come up and experience all the plentiful outdoor activities that the Big Chip and the many resorts around the lake have to offer. We have accommodations for everyone's liking. Good luck fishing everyone.
