Hi everyone,

Picked up husband and wife Dave and Marchelle staying at Deerfoot Lodge and resort for a half day trip yesterday afternoon. We enjoyed a beautiful sunny day with air temps in the 80's with just a light NW breeze. Fishing the deep wood pattern we found the fish biting very light. Fish with full stomachs can be tough to finesse at times. We wound up with 6 walleyes all undersized and perch, crappie, and SM bass. All fish were caught using the PROaggressive jigs tipped with leeches. Nothing showed much interest in the crawlers either on the PRO jig or on the slip bobber rig. Water temps are now starting to reach the 80 degree mark. Saw 81 until the sun started to go down, then the water temps fell back to 77. The mid summer pattern is in full swing. Good luck fishing everyone.
