Until the river water temps start climbing in an upward trend, fishing will continue to be spotty. The ACE began releasing water from the bottom gates (along with the top gates) last week to drain the extra water from our recent storms. This abruptly caused the water temps to drop once again. This 3-6 degree downward swing is all it takes to shut the fish down and put them in a super-negative mood.

We do not use livebait on my trips so I am sure guys are catching fish (as we caught a few) but the bite is certainly suffering from this negative temperature situation.
