Sundays action could be described as super as the west winds along with rainy/cloudy conditions had the walleyes up close to shore and on a great bite. Working mostly 3 to 4 feet of water, my 3 guests and I found the action to be just a little on the slow side at the start but with in a half hour the action really picked up and stayed that way the rest of the day. Using mostly Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we pounded these shallow water areas and had our limits by 11:15 in the morning, after that we just went fishing for whatever was active and we found several nice smallies relating to the rocks and decent pike action around the grassy areas, we did keep one real nice pike. Several other eyes were also boated in these areas but were released. Great day.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
