Despite the big wind switch from the south to the NE, Thursdays walleye action was still fairly good. My two guests and I started out working some shallow wind blown bays with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, and after working just 3 different wood and weedy bays without a hit, we moved to 12 to 14 feet of water over submerged wood and found some active eyes along with some scattered jumbo perch. Working a good deal of spots we did manage to end our half day trip with 6 nice eyes and 4 jumbo perch.

Back out today for another half day trip, will keep you posted.
