    Default Memorial Day Weekend report

Fished this past Sat. evening through Monday evening. Fishing was tough to say the least. Located several areas with new cabbage weeds but did not locate any fish in these areas. We ended up with 16 walleye, 6 perch, 2 crappie, 2 bluegills and a 27" carp. All of our fish were caught casting crankbaits in 5'-12' of water between 8:30pm-9:15pm. No bites in the morning, no bites during the day. We tried Sunday afternoon out deep, jigging minnows and plastics to no avail. A very strange weekend of fishing. 3 of the 4 legal walleyes we caught were on a blue/gold deep diving walley diver.

Thanks for the report Tony. I was in Eagle River for the long weekend at the gun show. I'll be up in Superior this weekend for their gun show. Oh by the way-NICE CARP. Good luck fishing everyone.
