Friday greeted my two guests and I with clear blue sky's and very little wind. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, we started out in 12 to 15 feet of water over submerged wood and found limited action as we found only a few decent eyes along with a couple of perch. When we finally got a decent breeze blowing we moved into shallow water around wood and picked up one nice eye along with empty lines as were bitten off by some pike. During the course of the day we had what seemed like a hundred different wind direction changes, but we managed to pick up a walleye here and there when we finally worked some submerged large stumps in 18 feet of water and found several eyes along with a good number of crappie and jumbo perch. At days end, we had 9 nice eyes and 15 crappie and perch.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
