TFF Update

Last planned trip on Wednesday was a rainout but was back at it yesterday morning and what a morning it was. Using Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads, my guest and I worked shallow (3 ft.) wind blown shorelines with laid down wood mixed in with shoreline weeds and found a very good mixture of walleyes and pike along with one big crappie. Using a somewhat fast jigging retrieve to keep our jig just off the bottom, we ended our morning trip with a total of 15 walleye caught along with 8 pike and a crappie. One of the eyes had a jig in it's stomach and another had not completed her spawning as she was still full of eggs.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
