The fishing action started out on the slow side yesterday after the cold front that moved thru the area. With NE winds blowing, my guest and I worked wind blown shorelines and also some shallow (5ft) stumpy humps with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with large fatheads and only one keeper for our efforts. We did have decent action working some blowdown timber but it was from smallies and one small musky. Wasn't till mid day that we finally located some real nice eyes and we limited on them in as little as 3 1/2 feet of water in and around stumps and laid down timber.

Back out today, will keep you posted.
