    Default Humminbird Depth Offset

    What depth offset should I use for Bays de Noc?
    With the water up it looks like one should use a plus 2' based on the Chart Datum depth of 577 and the forecasted level of 579.
    Sound right?

    Go out into the bay stop and set your offset so the depth on your map reads the same as your sonar depth reading. The depth on your map should be changing as you change the offset.
