Chip water level

The water level is still low right now but not that bad. It's definitely higher than it was in October last fall. I plan on getting out tomorrow and doing some crappie fishing with friends. They should be biting really good right now.

If the crappie bite is on, could you give me call on my cell. May be a good opportunity to get my bobber buddies some fish next weekend and try the new boat out.

Hey John, the crappie were up shallow and there still are some up shallow but there are a lot that are done spawning and are roaming around in river channels right now. They are easy to catch when you do find them. There are a bunch right by the bridge by the landing resort. Otherwise try some back bays on the north end or west side.
