Heard from a reliable source that there was a 19lb. walleye caught in a NW PA Lake this past week. Can anyone confirm or deny this?
If true, it will easily eclipse the current record.

Wow that huge ! Pennlive has a 31.75 inch, 9 lb., 10 oz. Walleye with a 15.75 inch girth as being caught and registered. Caught in the Susquehanna River on a six inch Chubb Jan. 21st at the mouth of a creek. I would be curious to hear about the 19 lber.
Any updates Red? Would love to see a pic. Big walleyes are awesome fish.
No, and the suspense is killing me. When or if that record gets broken, there will be some serious media attention. The new state record (if I am not mistaken) has to be at least .5 pounds heavier than the previous one. Can you imagine a 17lb 14oz or larger walleye being our new record?

I would think (by now) if a hog was caught, someone would be talking about it.
