Mike stopped by the shop with his daughters Brooke and Caroline, and a nice bucket of perch they caught in the upper bay. Brookes was biggest of the day, measuring 13 3/4 inches! Nice fish,guys!

Another Dave stopped by the shop this afternoon with a HUGE 11 pound,3 ounce monster LBDN walleye that was only 29 inches long! He caught it jigging on the lower bay. He also said he's been saving a spot on the mantel for quite some time for this fish. Great catch,Dave!

Brian and son Koda stopped in with a nice bucket of perch this afternoon. Brian said "It was wiggler-mania," referring to the live bait of choice today. They had several 13 inchers and one that was 14 inches! Great catch, guys!

Last couple entries for this weeks contest.
Mike and his daughters Brooke and Caroline, gave the perch a rest and chased walleyes, Saturday. Fishing south of Gladstone, they got a nice mess of walleyes and a pike.
And one for the "unusual catch" file. Rich caught a 58 inch sturgeon while jigging for walleyes south of Gladstone. He was using 8 pound test on a 28 inch rod, and took him two hours to land. No open season on these monsters in Lake Michigan, so it was released after a few pictures. Awesome catch, Rich!
