    Default Ice starting to form

There is ice on the north shorelines. From Lake Bastine north it's frozen. Still open water out front. With the cold temps it won't be long.

There is about twenty inches of snow on the ground. Looks like winter is here to stay. Ice fishing should start in the next week.

Ice formed along the shoreline overnight. The winds just died down and ice is starting to skim over the open areas. Kind of cool watching the ice form, little by little.

    Have a great day,

    Default Ice is on

Last night the flowage froze over. With temps at zero and no wind. Heavy frost, as you can see in the attachments.

1-4 inches of ice over by Blue's place. Walleyes were not biting. I'm blaming the Vortex.
