Jay and Pam from Tomah booked their final trip of this year for today on "Pete". They sure picked a nice one, for sure. A bit foggy by the time we reached the south end, but very little wind at all. We worked jigs and dead rods tipped with big fat-heads, and leeches. Before we had three lines in the water Jay had a "shortie" in the boat and Pam set the hook on a nice 22 inch slot walleye before I even had the net out. We fished from 7 till noon and finished with 3 "keepers", 1 in the slot, 25 "shorties, 1 crappie, and three white bass. Very, very light biters today. The long range weather forcast through mid November looks really nice for the most part. The fishing only gets better as fall progresses, so don't miss out on a great time.

Keep a tight line!!!
