I fished with Matt Akins and John Rashke over the weekend. When I had Matt out we didn't get anything to hit all day until the last spot where Matt caught an upper thirty inch fish on a Bulldawg. We had some trouble unkooking the fish so we just let it go without measuring it or getting a pic. It stayed upright so we're hoping it made it. That's the deepest I've seen a fish eat a Bulldawg in a while. Must have been pretty hungry.

When I had John out we had some pretty good weather but only had action from one fish all day. That one chased a sucker for a while but didn't hit for some reason. It's been good for some people though. One of my clients caught a pair of 47 inchers on Saturday and another caught one just over 48 inches.

water temps are just below 50 degrees.
