Hi everyone,

Guided Matt and his dad Wayne staying at Treelands resort yesterday for a half day walleye hunt. The day started out with heavy cloud cover and a strong South wind gusting up to 30 MPH. It made it difficult to fish where we wanted so we had to fish where we could and did ok. We boated walleyes, crappies, northern, perch, and LGM bass all on lead-free inline jigs keeping a walleye and a bunch of crappies and a good sized northern making for a full bag of fillets.

The water temps are dropping starting out at 54 degrees and rising only to 57 by afternoon. The air temps were warm compared to what we have been experiencing and we are in for a warming trend for the week. With the trees turning colors it is time to come 'up North' to soak up the beautiful colors while enjoying some excellent fishing. Give me a call and we'll set up your time for a walleye hunt. Good luck fishing everyone.
