Well, it's come to that tough time of year when all the weeds are dying off and the fish go a little nuts for a bit. We've been persistent in not trying off the wall stuff and have been rewarded.......kinda. We had a big fish hit a Pacemaker on Monday but wiffed on that one. We caught a 38 incher yesterday on an old school Bootail. That was Scott's first muskie ever which was cool. He thought he had a log since he had about thirty feet of line on his reel which gave him a 1:1:1 gear ratio. He was dredging the bottom most of the day. We had something go after a Pacemaker in the morning but not sure what species. Didn't get a look at it. Overall we've moved some fish in tough times so not too bad.

Water temps are 59 to 62 degrees.

Good luck,
