    Default Trolling Bite

Now that the water level is finally dropping, what's the chances of a good fall trolling bite? Will it be early or late this year?

My 2 cents it depends on water temp not lake level, the break line never changes.

Happening already. I would think water issues no factor.

Water levels near normal. Water temps in the high 50's. Got two trolling yesterday. I think you can catch fish trolling at any time of the year.

Thanks for the update Doug. I'm coming to Angle Outpost for the third week of October with my nephew. We got a couple of big ones last October and we're counting the days until we're back there. If we get a day with light winds, we're planning to make the run to Big Narrows for a day of trolling.

Any new reports? Anybody? What the heck happened to Pearson? Vanish from the earth? How are water levels and temps looking?

    Hey Rick W,

You gotta stay at Baystore!! Frank provides his guests a special secret something (can't tell ya, or we would all be killed) to help improve the trolling bite!!

Water temps in the high 40's or around 50 or so. Still some algae in areas, but it blows around. Two fish yesterday (one very nice one), several nice pike, and a couple more rips. Looks like there's still some fish in the LOTWs. Wish the wind would quit blowing!

Oh I don't know, the last two have a certain "Bite me" look about them.
