Hi everyone,

Fished in my buddies new boat yesterday. A new Tracker with a 150 Merc. Very nice setup. We did dirty the floor with walleyes and a host of other fish. We wound up with Northern, LGM. bass, SM. bass rock bass, crappie, bluegills, perch, and of course the 6 walleyes. No more new boat smell. Broke in right.

Fished deep wood with leeches and minnows on the lead-free jigs and even caught a walleye in the weeds on a beetle spin. Had dark overcast sky with very warm temps and finally the sky opened up and drenched us for about a 1/2 hour. Then the sun came out and the air temps rose even more. I think the new boat wants to go back to the show room. Ah Wisconsin weather. Gotta love it.

Days are shorter and along with it the water temps will soon start to plummet and the fall season will be upon us. I have lots of openings for walleye hunts in Sept. and October. Give me a call and we'll stalk some walleyes. Good luck fishing everyone.
