Hi everyone,

Guided Greg staying at Indian Trail resort for a half day this morning. Heavy clouds and cool air temps with 74 degree water temps and a stiff North East wind made for good conditions for hunting up Mr. walleye. We boated 10 walleyes and did a long distance release on another releasing all of them. We also caught a lot of crappies and bluegills keeping almost two dozen and a few small perch. For a half day, the action was consistent fishing the deeper wood with my lead-free inline jig and a slip bobber rig. Leeches had more success, but minnows caught their share. We were able to drag my inline designed jig through the wood snags without hanging up all the time. Spent more time fishing effectively rather then breaking off and retying.

I have openings for August and Sept. So contact me soon for your hunt for Mr. walleye. Lots of crappies and bigger bluegills out in deeper water too. Good luck fishing everyone.
