Hi everyone,

Today was day three for Dan and his Son Jack from New York and we found The walleye fishing picking up where we left off yesterday. In a half day, we boated 16 walleyes electing to release them all. Just a few pan-fish and two nice SM. bass and again we released all the fish. In 2 and a half days we boated 62 walleyes and a ton of crappies and bluegills and a fair number of SM. bass. Considering that Dan and Jack had never caught a walleye, SM bass, or a northern before, smiles were the rule. We had three very enjoyable days of multi-species fishing.

All fish were located in the deeper wood using lead-free PROaggressive jigs tipped with leeches and on slip bobber rigs tipped mostly with minnows. The weather was perfect all three days with mostly sunny skies with light winds mainly from the South east. Water temps have risen to 78 degrees and as the water warms, the fishing has improved tremendously. Now is a good time to be fishing the Chippewa Flowage. I have some openings available so give me a call to book your day on the water. Good luck fishing everyone.
