Hi everyone,

With near perfect weather I guided Father/Son Dan and Jack again today. With the good fishing we experienced, they might not want to go back to New York. We boated 30 walleyes keeping just one. We had 8 others at 14 3/4 inches but Dan wanted to maintain the 15" size limit because he understands the importance of it. We did keep a good mixed bag of crappies, bluegills, and perch to fill a bag with fillets. We also boated SM bass and rock bass to round out a great day on the water.

We fished the deep wood using my new inline jig tipped with leeches and minnows and on slip bobber rigs with minnows. The bullet shaped design of my inline jig just does not snag up as much in the wood so it is easier to scrounge up walleyes hunting there. Give them a try. I have openings available for August and Sept so give me a call to set up a day on the water and to try my new inline jig which I provide for every guide trip. Good luck fishing everyone.
