    Eric and Jean from Nekoosa booked a morning trip on "Pete" for today. Nice cool morning with a little cloud cover to start the day, then the sun came out about 9 am and it started getting warm. We trolled Flicker Shads and Shad Raps all morning and finished with 18 "shorties", 3 in the slot at 22 1/2 each, 14 crappies, 4 white bass, 7 cat, and 2 sheephead.

    What depth were the fish at? I'm new to the area, does anyone anchor up and jig/slip bob? Or will you only find fish while trolling?
