Back out yesterday for a half day with guest, Roger, who called to see if I had an opening just as I was walking out the door to go fishing by myself. With a quick meeting at Flambeau Flowage Sports to pick up our bait, we were on the water and fishing by 8:30. Rigged with Reeves weedless jigs tipped with 1/2 crawlers, we worked a couple of shallow weeded bays and also tried 15 foot depths over submerged stumps and never found a fish. We then moved a little shallower and found several eyes relating to the stumps in 11 feet. It was one of those days with almost completely flat water with on and off light breezes that kept changing directions, and on and off cloud cover, not my favorite conditions in the calm water but we did find some very nice eyes.

Back out today with my bride to do some relaxing slip bobber fishing for what ever bites, hopefully some nice gills or perch, if we should get an eye or two, that would be fine.
