With all of the rain the water levels here on the Cass Lake Chain continue to be higher than many of us have ever seen before. Also the late spring and high water has the pencil reed growth way behind schedule and they are just now starting to fill into their respective locations. The water temp is currently right around 70 degrees and the walleye bite is better now that the first big wave of mayflies are done hatching.
