The fishing is still very good on Lake Sharpe in the West Bend and Joe Creek Areas. The fish are very shallow if the wind is blowing at all, 4 to 9 ft on minnow and crawlers with a bright spinner. On Lake Oahe the bite is getting better every day. The best bite on the lower half of the lake nearest Pierre SD is in the mouth of the Cheyenne River. Limits are being caught from 7 to 30 feet again shallow if the wind blows at all.
Remember July is and always has been the best time to fish Oahe so give us a call for a guided fishing trip you will always remember.

See you on the river
