Hit the water again today with Mike and his son, but today we were joined by his friends Joe from Texas and Pat from Joliet, IL. The weatherman said it was going to be windy and they were right. We opted to go to the river to launch instead of the lake. The wind started out from the southwest about 10-15, the switched from the west at 20-25 with gusts in the 30's. Stevens Point weather said they had gust of 70 this afternoon. We slip bobbered, jigged and trolled the river to stay out of the wind a little and finished the day with, 2 "keepers", 17 "shorties", 3 in the slot, 1 crappie, 2 white bass, 9 cat, and 2 sheephead.
