Early June has arrived and our guests are enjoying sunny skies, a cool breeze and temperatures in the 60's. The water is incredibly clear. Birds are nesting. Our guests are landing Walleyes, Nortern Pike, Largemouth Bass, Crappies, Bluegill, Perch and Rock Bass.

We have converted our Campground into 14 Seasonal Sites, each with water, sewer and electric. In 2013 we drilled a new well and now all campers enjoy tremendous water pressure. All 14 sites have been filled with a Seasonal Camper for 2014. If you are looking for a Seasonal Campsite for 2015, we suggest you call us and get your name on our waiting list.

Our guests enjoy landing fish from our docks. The fact that our docks are permanent and don't need to be pulled up on the shore for winter, helps provide a better hiding place for fish in the spring, summer and fall. Plus, as many of you know, those permanent docks mean opening week of the Walleye season (around May 10) is always fun and exciting at Oak Haven, no matter what the ice conditions are on the area lakes.

Baby birds are beginning to appear all over the place. Many, many birds nest in this area. A law was created some ten years ago, asking boats to go real slow in the many river channels that connect the Cass Lake Chain of Nine Lakes. Boat waves can end the lives of baby birds before their life begins. Wildlife enthusiasts everywhere Thank You for boating slowly in these connecting waterways.

Come to Oak Haven where you can enjoy calm, clear water, with an abundance of spectacular life forms.
