John and candy from Fort Atkinson, Wisconsin booked another trip, only on Castle Rock this time . Just like on the 14th they wanted to learn how to safely navigate the lake and river, and to get some GPS locations for future reference. We started out at the county park and explored the east side all the way to the dam. As a side note: The eagles were out in force along the river. We probably observed at least 50 sitting in trees along the rivers edge. We also made a side trip into fish lake. We worked our way back down river to the lake and on over to Buckhorn Bay and the bridge area before we ended the trip. There is still a strong current in the river, and the water is still almost a foot high. There is a lot of debris floating all over the lake, so when trolling you will have to check the lines often to keep them clean. Water temperatures on the lake are now in the mid 60's.

Keep a tight line!!!
