    5/25/14 Lake Delavan, sunny, 65 degrees, light winds out of the west. water temp 58-60 degrees. Caught 11 northern pike and 5 largemouth bass the best bass bait was a split shot rigged night crawler. The best pike bait was sucker minnows suspended a foot above the weeds depth 6-10 ft of water.

    5/24/14 Lake Kegonsa sunny, 75 degrees, water temps 55-58 degrees. caught 9 crappies, 11 whitebass we found the first but, broke one of the rules of fishing. we left fish to go find more fish so a lot of time was spent driving around while showing the customers where to fish and how to fish.

    5/23/14 Lake Waubesa, sunny, 70 degrees, SE wind at 5 mph. Water temp 56-60 degrees. Caught and kept 15 crappies 6 bluegills, caught and released over 25 crappies, 1 largemouth and 3 walleyes. Pan fish were all caught in shallow With the rising water temperature, the fish are preparing to spawn. Selective harvest was used to try and release fat female fish.

    5/21/14 Delavan Lake , sunny, light west wind, 65 degrees, water temp 57 degrees. Caught 1 largemouth, 1 smallmouth –and 6 pike. The medium thill bobber and small sucker was the best presentation best depth was in 5-8 ft of water south and west ends.

    5/20/14 Lake Geneva, sunny, 65 degrees, W wind at 10 mph. Water temp 59 degrees. Caught 6 largemouth and 1 smallmouth bass.
    The best bite was in 7 ft of water using wacky worms or large fathead minnows fished split shot and hook.

    5/19/14 Lake Waubesa, cloudy, 55 degrees, W wind at10- 20 mph. Water temp 56-58 degrees. Caught 3 largemouth one at 4 lbs and 33 crappies, 2 northern pike. The fish were caught in less than 7 ft of water, about 6 ft down in weedy bays with sand. We used medium suckers fished beneath a Thill slip bobber to catch the pike.
