Ice Conditions / Open Water

Thanks for the brief report!!! I am pretty sure that I am able to find some open water as I tested my boat on the Thorofare in between Minocqua and Tomahawk Lakes... Did BBall game in 3Lakes Tuesday night and it looked like the western part of the ER Chain may be fairly open... Right now thinking that I may be heading for Nokomis, Mohawkskin or the Phillips Chain and perhaps hoping to see the Willow, Pike/Round Lake or something even closer may open up...

Most of the lakes in the Rhinelander Area are still iced in. Boom, Crescent, George still were mostly covered in ice as of this morning. I think they will all go out in the next couple days.
