I don't know a lot about spinning rods for muskies but Thorne Brothers would be a good store to call. They know better than anyone how to get a good setup for spinning gear for muskies.

You're sure this isn't for you????

I have a friend who fishes with spinning gear for muskies and has for years. He has two 8' St Croix rods that he uses. Inititially he found the rod being marketed for salmon fisherman I believe. Hope this helps.

Might even consider some type of salt water type of rod...

I would think that a pretty stiff salt water rod would do too!!!
