Fished this past weekend and had a great trip. Saturday was cloudy all day with about 3 hours of rain in the afternoon. Air temp was around 70 with the water temp around 71-72. Low light really had the fish moving. Ended up boating a 34 on a black DC9 and lost an upper 30's right at the boat also on black. Had so many follows we lost count in the 20's, including 5 in the mid 40 range. We had a hard time triggering strikes and were actually bummed we didn't boat more fish, but it was exciting getting follows on about every spot we fished.

Sunday was sunny without a cloud in the sky which really slowed things down. I think the air temp was around 70 again, with the water temp around 70. We decided to fish the same areas, but pull off the weed lines a bit and run our baits about 5-8 feet down because the high sun and super clear water. I boated a fat 41 on a white tandem spinner bait, and we had 5 other follows all from 40+ fish.

We fished from 8am until 11am on Monday morning with overcast skies and air temps in the 60's. Water temp was again around 69-70. Fished 3 spots where we had the most action the previous 2 days, but only managed to get 1 follow from a mid 40's fish. We were bummed we had to leave because conditions were perfect.
