Sorry for not posting fishing reports lately. Have been super busy at work ever since returning from LOTW in July. Steve and I fished from July 10-20 as part of the FRV MI Club outing. We had 32 people join us this year. A good time was had by all. We ended up boating 14 muskies; I got 10 and Steve 4. Water temps were running mid to upper 70's, water clarity was good, weeds good but the fish seemed to be in the same funk they were in 2012. Water 5-10'down was much cooler than normal. I think this was due to the late ice-out and the higher than normal water levels. Weather leading up to the trip was unseasonable as well. Both of us were very pleased as our average for the 14 muskies was just shy of 42". I ended up with a 48.5 and a 48 with Steve's largest at 47.75. Bucktails, Suicks and Topwaters were our best producers. I do know the week after we left a major cold front really made fishing tough.
