    Default Smallies early September

Haven't had a chance to fish TFF for a couple of years and am anxious to see if I can still find a smallie up there. Any help is appreciated. Should be there the first week of Sept.
    Thanks so much.

    Fishrman,

I live by one main rule on the Turtle year round. Less wind means slower, deeper, weed and wood. More wind means faster, shallower, rock. The flowage is a smallmouth factory and with enough trial and error you will find them. Stick to the basics, don't overcompicate, and enjoy your time.
