It was nice to finally see some sunshine for a change!! The water temps have slowly been raising in the area lakes. Water temps are in the mid 60's right now. Crappie action has been pretty good with fish up to 13". I believe that the crappies have missed there chance to spawn this year. we are catching the fish deep off of wood using slip bobbers and minnow combinations. We were catching them in 14-18 feet of water. Walleye action has remained pretty consistent. The active fish are in the new weed growth and actively hitting jig and minnow combinations. Musky action has been slow. They are starting to move better. We are are getting the most reaction on bucktails and smaller twitch baits and also gliders. new weeds again seems to be the best right now. Bass season opens this weekend. Some fish are still up on the beds due to the cold late spring. Top-water and minnow baits are the best option right now.

Good Fishing,
