I had Joe out for a four hour trip in the morning yesterday and it was about as good as it gets for weather. Dead calm and sunny. You could pick apart the weedbeds pretty easy. We lost one on a Suick and had one other follow a Bulldawg. The bucktails and topwater weren't working too good. I think Joe learned a lot on how to fish weedbeds and hopefully gets some fish in the boat this fall when he's back. I took a couple days off to hang with my little nieces and nephews so I'm sure I'll get out in the evening with my brothers to do some fishing but no guiding the next two days.
