    water temps staying low-mid 70's.
    mayfly hatch lingered longer than expected but finally looks as of this am to be over or nearly so and is on most nearby smaller lakes.
    fish on reefs scattered in pods,stick and move 12-17'on reefs bigger fish shallow,eater fish deeper,lots of fish in cabbage8-14',mostly big fish slot and over. flyins and 4wds smoking hot,lots of fish.
    still some big pike in weeds casting.
    trout on eagle were slow.
    big muskies moving,mostly blades,move em'fast,high % eating out, and topwater.both weeds,rocks,shallow bars.
    fishing moving forward through first 1/2 of sept will go into a peak soon especially walleyes and muskies.

    1 week to go. Can't wait to get up there. I hope there's a 4 wheel lake hot for eyes. Want to take my dad on an little adventure. Save me a date and a 55 incher.
