May9th fishing report
I had brothers Scott and John out yesterday and they lived up to their curse of never catching a fish with a guide. The fact that they've fished with Ray Blank and Joe Jasek makes me feel better but not much. Actually they are good fishermen. We just didn't get the fish going yesterday. We had two follow yesterday. One followed twice on a Ghosttail and the other followed three times on a Big Game twitchbait. The first one was a nice mid forty inch fish. We would have liked to have caught that one. We had sun, rain, wind, calm, and about every other weather yesterday and didn't catch a fish. That's the way it goes some days.
