Default Southern Portion of Allegheny River

Is it fishable these days? This rainy pattern has to end at some point! Wow.

Its been blown out for almost 10 days, but I expect for it to be fishable at some point this week without anymore rain.

It finally started to clear this morning on the Kennerdell to Emlenton stretch. Boated one small pike and then hooked a chunky 34 or 35" fish that gave me the classic 360 twist flip and shook off mid air. That's the first fish I've seen since the river turned to mud over the last week or so.

I fished lake Arthur on Friday and then took a evening boat ride on the Allegheny which was still a little high down here in the sarver area and was able to run the kiski up stream about 5 or 6 miles which is usually not possible even with a jet in the summer. It is currently raining hard now so not sure what it doing up your way? Lokks liek the first day without rain will be Friday.
