Weather a bit up and down with wind and some storms blowing through. The walleye bite slowed at times, but had periods of excellent action on humps with live bait being the best presentation.

Obabikon Lake gave up hot action for northerns again multiple times throughout the week.

Muskie action was a bit sluggish for the few of our guests casting, but picked up Thur/Fri when some overcast skies finally appeared. Smaller baits were the ticket.

Stable weather in the forecast bodes well for walleye anglers. Muskie hunters would like to see some cloud cover, but looks like sun shining all week long.

Water temps as high as 77 degrees in places. Remember to practice safest handling techniques during this high water temp periods.

Happy 1st and 4th of July to everyone!
