Spent the weekend guiding Dan and his son Van. Started out Friday night and fishing was very tuff. Dan had a small fish up on a tap dancer AKA Otis Wilson. We tried to hit the water at 5 am on Saturday but we had a lot of rain to deal with. We decided to kill a little time at R&R for breakfast. By 830 we were able to get back out on the water. We fished hard and covered a lot of water but had a slow day. Around 3 Van hooked up on a nice 42. The fish ate a vibrex about 10 feet from the boat and Van had his hands full. The fish was out of the water under the boat but the way he handle it you would have never guessed it was his first musky. I'm not sure who had a bigger smile Van or Dan. We finished up the day around 5 to make sure we caught the Blackhawks game. The hawks won so Dan had to hit the road early on Sunday to catch his Sunday night flight to Boston.

Had a great trip. Wish we were able to spend more time on the water but musky in the boat and a hawks game 5 win made for a great weekend.
