My wife and I were able to fish from the 6th to the 9th and fishing was nothing short of spectacular. We fished the afternoons with cranks on boulder shorelines in 1-8ft. MANY bass in the 14-18 inch range with the biggest being 18 1/4. Easy 30 fish days on bass, with every 5th fish being a quality eye or northern. These were 3-4 hour trips, so again I say spectacular. As much as I hate to say it, I lost my wives first muskie in the net (mid 40's). Walleye nets are not meant for the strength or size of a fish like that (at least that is what I tell my wife). I did crappie fish in the mornings with fair results. Most fish were in 5ft. or less, but I did get a few in 12-20ft. My biggest surprise was a 22 inch walleye in 2ft. of water crappie fishing, I thought I had the mythical 18 inch crappie for a minute. Anyway, going back in July for a 10 day sabbatical.
