Can you give us any details on the current water temps?

    Thanks.

While doing some searching for water temps, I ran accross this: http://www.ndbc.noaa.gov/station_page.php?station=45148. The location is nw from the camp.

    Thanks

Just got home today from the past week at WB. Water temps were in the high 50's at the beginning of my trip. As of yesterday, they were in the low to mid-60's, depending on how much sun was shining that day. Some of the back bay areas were in the high 60's. We had one monster rain squall on a mid-week evening that dropped the temps a couple degrees but they bounced right back the next day. Daytime temps were in the high 60's - low 70's for the most part with partly to mostly sunny skies. Evenings were comfortably cool. Water levels continue to rise due to heavy rains in northern MN. There is only about 15" showing on the gull rocks outside camp narrows. Most fishing was shoreline related and good catches of walleyes and bass were seen. Several muskies in the low to mid-40 inch range were caught toward the end of the week.

Thanks for the info. We arrived at the camp on June 15 and stayed through June 20. The water ranged from 65 to 70 while we were there and the fish were still on the banks.
