    Default May 28th fishing report

I had one last crappie trip for the year and we caught a lot of them. We ended up keeping 50 of them and probably caught 400 or more. We caught a lot of small ones yesterday. We didn't use any minnows. We caught them all on plastics. Actually, I couldn't imagine putting that many minnows on. A couple more walleye trips and then back to muskie fishing.

I'm guessing your son has minnows on. Tell him to take the minnows off and put tube jigs or other plastics like mini mites on. This message might be a little too late. The fish are shallow and plentiful. You can see them anywhere on the lake if you drive up next to shore. Good luck,
